A Place Where Families Bloom
Family Tree Oki is an English-speaking 4D ultrasound and wellness studio in Okinawa, built specifically for military and SOFA-status families.
Who We Are
Family Tree Oki is operated by 合同会社koya, based in Okinawa, Japan. We built this studio around one simple idea: pregnancy in a foreign country shouldn't mean navigating it alone, in a language you're still learning.
Our core service is 4D and 2D ultrasound imaging for expecting parents, delivered by an English-speaking, all-female team in a warm, private setting. We've since begun expanding into licensed acupuncture and broader pregnancy and family support, with more services planned as we grow alongside the community we serve.
Most of our families are stationed at Kadena Air Base, Camp Foster, Camp Hansen, Torii Station, or nearby installations across Okinawa — active duty, DoD civilian, and SOFA-status households navigating pregnancy far from extended family.
Why Family Tree Oki
We designed every part of the visit — from booking to the scan itself — around what makes pregnancy overseas harder than it needs to be: language barriers, unpredictable schedules, and being far from the people who would normally be in the room with you.
Who It's For
Family Tree Oki is built primarily for military families stationed in Okinawa — but any expecting family in the area is welcome. We work especially well for parents who want clear English communication, don't have extended family nearby, and are navigating a duty schedule that doesn't always cooperate with standard appointment hours.
